it was definitely the Caparison btw. The pics on caparisons website have his model with the dimarzios in it . I got the pic I posted and the specs from the band's site:

The radius on his fretboard looks ridiculously flat. You'd think that he'd be using a more tightly bound fretboard for all the sweeps and shred shit that he does.

it's a compound radius fretboard. about 15 3/4 " raduis at the top of the neck and 13 3/4 at the net if my calcs are correct. Definitely flatter than most big name models. I actually kind of like flat fretboards....I played a carvin Holdsworth model once (amazing guitar btw) and the fretboard radius on that is almost completely flat.......i think the radius measurement is 20" and the playability of that thing was fuckin' ace.
