some prog faves of mine that have not already been mentioned :
Leviathan (had to get used to the singer, but once that had been gotten over, I fell for them)
Ice Age (check out No Surrender(Lhasa Road))
Lanfear (one of the most varied bands I ever heard, just check out Zero Poems)
Adramelch (their 1989 (??) debut Irae Melanox is a forgotten masterpiece of Prog and has recently been rereleased by the obscure Reborn Classics label. One the best ever.)

Payne's Grey (dark, made a concept album based on H.P.
Lovecraft's The Dream-Quest For Unknown Kadath : Kadath Decoded.)
you can get all Kadath Decoded and the Mini-CD (can't remember the name) on audiogalaxy, since I always keep those files in my shared folder )
Rough Silk (kinda savatage like, but more german)
did anybody mention Ayreon yet ?
Rocket Scientists (only for those who can take a healthy dose of Minimoog)
Dali's Dilemma (don't ask me, yet )
