The Purchases Thread

Yeah new DT is good...
Everyone is raving about In The Presence of Enemies 1 & 2 but they are the only one's that heven't really grown on me yet

I'm sure they will... Just the instrumental section in Pt 2 seems a bit out of place... Same with the Instrumental section on Ministry of Lost Souls... Probably could have done without that part... Or maybe make it a bit more melodic and less crazy 'LTE' crazy.

My early favorites are Prophets of War and Repentence. Very Opeth sounding and a coool JP solo

Mikael Akerfeldt actually appears on Repentence. As well as Steve Wilson, Steve Vai, Daniel Gildenlow, Corey Taylor, Jon Anderson, David Ellefson, Steve Hogarth, Chris Jericho, & Neal Morse!

Talk about an all-star line-up!

Ministry of Lost Souls rocks.

I'm very surprised at how much I like this album. It's awesome. The last time I liked a DT album a great deal was Falling Into Infinity.

OK, In The Presence of Enemies grew on me.
It's my favorite from the album with Prophets of War a close second.

I was thinking the other day that Muse are probably in my top 3 bands list... so that probably explains why I like POW so much... It's DT meets Muse but not in a total rip off way like Never Enough :)
