It's something I really enjoy, gives me something the few other genres of music I hear couldn't. Sometimes you want to bang your head, sometimes you just relax and listen to black metal, but either way it's something I'm glad I found and is a big interest in my life. I like extreme metal so much I've made music for my solo death band since no one here likes death but me. it's a small community and if I see someone with a death or black shirt I'm definitely speaking to them, so it's an element of undergroundness and people with similar ideas and interests that I long for. Lostening to metal may just change your out look on life.
