why that? At least 50% of the bands discussed here do not have metal as their core element... I, for one, was planning a non-metal band.

besides the fact that i'll post something "metal" and have 90 people tell me that no, those heavy riffs, screaming vocals, and bullet belts are in fact not metal at all, but rather post-punk hardcore with 80's hair metal influence, which is not metal at all.

Yep. Either go on standby for absentees, or if you're not around we'll just add you in the end. As with Crimson Death, it's difficult to track who frequents this forum on a daily/weekly basis, but you WILL get your turns!

Recommend what you like, but it might garner more interest if some of its roots are in metal. E.g. modern day Ulver, or post metal Empyrium etc.

Totally up to you though. It's your 15 minutes.
