The saddest song ever!

First time I heard this song it was 2am and I felt depressed out of my skull and it hit me like a tonne of bricks. Fucking magic. Right at the end, shit hits me every time.

And this just goes without saying. The album breaks your neck and makes you cry like a little girl simultaneously.

"And The Band Played 'Waltzing Matilda' " by Eric Bogle, done by the Dubliners

I was working at a record store the first time I heard this song, and I literally sat down in the gross, dusty back room and sniffled like a baby.

That song they played in the movie Titanic while the boat was sinking. Hollywood, yes, but sad nontheless.

Cemetery Gates is pretty fucking sad.

There's more that I like but I don't want to sound like a wussy.

This song puts an immense weight on my chest within the first few notes. When the strings come in it feels like total depression. Insanely beautiful.
