The saddest song ever!

You sir are correct. :goggly:

Hell yea! :p

On a more serious note, I think the saddest song is the song you have listened to when you were the saddest. If that makes any sense... it's all about associations.

I'm not really sure which my sad song is.. I don't really have one. I listened to a lot of brutal fucking death metal when I went through the so far shittiest period of my life, so I can't really say that's any sad music :)

Opeth's "Windowpane" however is probably the closest I have to a sad song. The song itself is not sad but I have some associations attached to it.

On a less serious note:

EMO THREAD!!

Also, Nine Inch Nails - Somewhat Damaged
I was a pretty fucked up guy at that particular point in time so I had a day where I locked myself in my room and listened to it on repeat.

Dark days, felt better afterwards though. HA.

Hell yeah ~BURNY~. :kickass:

Don't find it sad, just epic.

For some reason I get a picture of a old dark damp dirty church with dirty sexually abused children and babies buried outside in the cemetery. Jesus statue is missing half a face and is covered in feces. The ghost of thousands of children are trapped and forever cry and experience Father John's special love, over and over again.

Pretty epic stuff.

Wait, this is sad. :waah:

Dam christians.

For example
Fleetwood Mac - Go Your Own Way
Annie Lennox - Love Song For A Vampire
Queen - Who Wants To Live Forever
Ennio Morricone - Once Upon A Time In The West, Man With A Harmonica

Actually I prefer the Choir of New College from oxford version but I coudn't find it... It's slightly faster and more dynamic. Anyway, If you can crank the volume and hold your tears, you are not human...:p

Another piece of sad music. Not as intense but still very dramatic to my ears:
