I don't know. I always think of him as a .270 avg, middling to low power hitter. He's a good fielder though

Rowand is a good signing for just about anyone looking for an outfielder, I think. He's certainly not an impact player, but a great team guy. Every club needs guys like him.

There are also rumors that the Yankees could trade Hideki Matsui to the Giants. Word is the Yankees would want Matt Cain for him. Of course I heard that like a week ago, so even if it was really on the table, I suppose it fell through.

I'm really rather disenchanted with commercial sports as a whole right now. It's so tainted with dishonesty and backroom dealings that it makes me question just how authentic anything about the game is.
