BURN THE HERETIC!
Don't misunderstand me. I'm all for your right to hold whatever view you fancy. I was merely inquiring into whether or not I'm allowed to hurl insults at you in this forum.
BURN THE HERETIC!
Have you read A (Ridiculous) Theory of Justice?
Certainly one of the most absurd and preposterous pieces of writing I have come across, and thats no small feat.
In conclusion, the modern university is a cesspool of faggotry and Judaism disguised as higher learning.

speed,
Nile and I were discussing the possibility of a future meeting of all three of us, as it is likely that he and I will be in the general area during the next year or so. I look forward to it (a little tag team ontology on your ass).
p.s. I apologize for my insufferable "cuteness" tonight... I have been enjoying my homebrew!
I prefer my ass to retain its ontological virginity. HEhe
But I'd love to meet you two guys. I'd love to get Prozak there too. Well, theres many regulars I'd love to meet (Oldscratch, norsemaiden, murai, derek, and so many more).
The modern university has it's share of issues, but accusing faculty of seeking some sort of fast-track towards big bucks is ludicrous when you take into account how difficult it is to find a job that pays more than $70,000 per year (and thats after at least a decade of academic work with virtually no pay). Of course there's ego and pissing contests in academia, and that's essentially the way it's always been.
I'd like to see what it is that people here identify as Jewish faggotry. My experience so far has been very positive, with very few faculty members regardless of department seeking to teach anything that seems blatantly biased or fiercely promoting one single viewpoint. About the only thing I've found common is that they all criticize George W. Bush, and I don't see that as a negative. My epistemology professor is a proponent of an infinitist theory of justification (in fact, the leading proponent). Yet he refuses to cover this view, which he feels strongly about, because it is beyond the scope of an introductory epistemology course. Just one example.

I'm still much more afraid of plump, bible-thumping middle class Americans who listen to O'Reilly and Hannity, gobble up Cracker Barrel, shop at Wal Mart, think philosophy or culture is Mitch Albom's Tuesdays with Morrie, and watch CSI and American Idol.
What's the name of your professor? I think he may have been mentioned in my epistemology class because my teacher said something about infinitism and then said that there's only one guy who defends the view (I guess because the view seems crazy), but I don't remember the name of the guy.
Why? American couch potatos are unorganized, unmotivated, and have no goals to speak of. They're dangerous only inasmuch as the US is a representative democracy and they've got a lot of aggregate voting power. The real threat, as always, comes from those with power, money, and an agenda. Let's face it, Uncle Sam McFatty is only dangerous when he's got Jewy Jewberg dictating his voting priorities. And given that the real sources of power in the US (the major political parties, the education system and the Infotainment Industrial Complex) are all wholly owned subsidiaries of ZOG, Inc., it ain't the unwashed and the uncircumcized who are the dangerous ones.
