Anyone hear ever heard the melodic black metal band Legion of Darkness (not to be confused with Legion of Doom)? They play melodic bm that doesn't sound cheesy or commercial, and one of the guys is even in a pretty well known power metal band (Thy Majestie). Definitely worth checking out if you are into melodic bm.
