Malignance you are right about inverted 'the shadowland' being generic, it's better than there can only be one but that is still generic. I recomend anyone avoid this band.

cheers for the branikald swizzlybollocks, grand stuff. fourth track's definitely the best by quite a distance though, the first tracks cool but nothing special, second track i like quite a lot but again is a lot more conventional, third track showed promise but was ruined by shit drums and the like, fourth track is just absolutely masterful

i got a reccomendation from dazed and brutal to listen to the newer Amon Amarth and that shit deserves a

I really like Regina Spektor's Begin To Hope. It is fantastic and certainly one of my favorite non-metal releases of the year. Not as good as Soviet Kitsch though, but still very good.

On an unrelated note: I can't wait for Rufus Wainwright's new album to come out.
