The new Bolt Thrower was not as great as people made it out to be despite being good. Those Once Loyal does not compare to The IVth Crusade, For Victory or even Mercenary.

Dechristianized sucked, and the new one sounds to be more of the same, so I doubt you're missing anything.

I really enjoyed the new VR album, tbh. Think along the lines of the new Deicide, except with a more flowing feel, epic song structures and trad HM influenced soloing. Best DM album of this year, tbh.

On Bolt Thrower (To Teh Greys I think their last album was on a par with Mercenary, tbh, both of which are great pieces of work.

Of course, nothing can top ...For Victory.

You are right about it being not as good as Mercenary or For Victory, but the IVth Crusade wasn't very good.

Would have been better with Willets, as the K Machine demo with him on vocals shows.
