Kamelot is bigger than Edguy now, although Edguy were bigger in their prime (I think...)

Kamelot puts on a good show, I've seen them before. Their new album definitely isn't their best. You should go on youtube and look up their older stuff:

I hadn't noticed. Rocket Ride was pretty sweet.
But yeah, the Black Halo is supposed to be pretty sick, I think I'll just buy that without listening to anything first, because it's really boring buying an album when I've heard half of it already. Although I heard Shadow Of Uther on pandora and it was pretty good.

Do you actually own any early Edguy albums? Rocket Ride is really mediocre compared to the older stuff.

I don't own any of the older ones on CD (I plan to get most of them, starting with Theater of Salvation), but I pirated a bunch of it on limewire. The older stuff is better, yes, but I really love Rocket Ride for some reason. It's almost a hard rock album, too.

I listened to Arch Enemy's last album on my way to work today. I don't consider myself much of a fan of their's, but I think that album is a damn fun listen.

I just downloaded a couple of Graveland albums & all the Insomnium albums last night. I'm gonna check that Graveland out later, I can't wait.

i'm really interested in some power metal especially like early rhapsody

does anything else compare to that? i want full blown epic story telling unicorn inspired symphonic greatness. i didn't wanna make a new thread.

edit: i kinda wanna stress that i love that rapsodys albume are all the same story so i guess concept albums are a must. and not blind guardian
