I also have fallen in love with Pain of Salvation's Remedy Lane. I am so glad they came along, I would much rather listen to prog such as POS then cheesy stuff that makes you grimace at the lyrics and content.

Yes, Moonblood definitely deserves two mentions .

I did't even notice I mentioned them twice. Well they were indeed a phenomenal black metal band, and easily one of my top three favorite black metal bands.

How good are these bands?

I would obviously say they are great. To give you an idea of how they sound.

Belmez - gloomy black metal similar to Bethlehem
Mjolnir - high speed black metal with good production and sharp riffs
Primordial - blackened Irish folk metal
Before God - death metal with thrash influence, somewhat similar to Arghoslent
Regorge - catchy, somewhat technical brutal death metal
Illogicist - technical death metal. somewhat similar to Atheist, but heavier.
Art Inferno - good, dark medlodic black metal with decent production
Daemonarch - good thrashy black metal
