Maybe a hot take RE "Nightmare" but it's not often a band re-records a song from their first album and actually improves upon it. Only other band that comes to mind is Dark Angel.

Same deal as Megadeth in 1990, Autopsy's "Disembowel" would go in here too if I didn't limit myself to 1 song per band.

Oh right yeah I was definitely thinking of Cemetery of Splendor.

I just realised looking at yours that I forgot about Enter the Void lol. Out of my top 5 I'm actually not sure how any of them would go over with you, except for UniSol: Regeneration but I'm only assuming that because you and Vegard tend to like the same stuff.
