The trigun thread

Trigun rules

Im on episode 12...i mentioned im gonna get em all off Fed Ex off my friend...

Oyo if u want another series...u might wanna try Cowboy bebop (or whatever), Escaflowne, or good old DBZ

Back to Trigun...damn. :D

i wish they would make a season 2 but i understand that that wouldnt make alot of sense...It would be cool if they made a movie with an alternate storyline, sort of like the Escaflowne movie.

Has any1 heard of that british candid cameralike show 'Trigger Happy TV'?

The Vision of Escaflowne is possibly one of the best animes i've ever seen, and the movie was extremely well made.

Trigun rocks, can't wait till my friend sends em over.

I saw one episode of cowboy bebop today, its pretty good i must say, although i saw it in french.

any other good titles worth checking out?

Hey peeps.

Does anyone know where I can get hold of the original Technoman/Tekkaman Blade series on DVD or VHS while we are on the subject of anime. It's my fave series ever, but anime is extremely limited in the UK. I've looked on all the major internet ordering sites, but they only have Technoman2 series. Arrgh I want series 1!!!!

Its wierd, because i just saw the last empisode of Cowboy Bebop last night (the play it on adult swim on cartoon network, but it isnt edited.) I wont spoil the ending! but wow, it sure is a suprise ending all right! ive seen alot of episodes in between and i think it looks really good. Also, ive heard if you like Trigun you would like Outlaw Star (its one of the action/comedy animes, like Trigun). They even make the infamous "cat face" in it! DBZ is pretty good, but the series is over 290 episodes! they add way to much crap in it. The amount of time it takes them to finish a fight is like 30 episodes, for any other anime its 1 or 2 (for example... Trigun and Cowboy Bepob). DBGT is i think better, and also its only 64 episodes (Trigun and CBBB are 26). the Big O is a pretty good anime (13 episodes), but its a huge rip off of batman, heh. Golden Boy is a funny anime (only 6 episodes), but its not action, pretty much pure comedy. But dont forget... DO NOT COMPARE THESE ANIMES TO TRIGUN!!! i gaurentee you that you will not find a better anime that Trigun (though you could find one almost as good, but probably not). anyways, goodbye.

oh yeah, but about when one of you said you wished they continued Trigun, do you really think thats a good idea? Because I know they couldnt make it better then Trigun now, and also they would probably get different voices. I think the voices they have now are perfect, and it would be hard to get used to another Vash, Milly, Meril, ect. voice. But yeah, for those of you whove seen to the end know theres tons of questions they leave you with. Especially Knives..... i wont say any more, heh. I wish i could go back to the first time watching it...... so many suprises you guys who havent seen it are in for..... anyway, its cool there is more Trigun fans here. so, goodybye.

god i love kuroneko, that cat kicks ass! hahahaha..

anyone here ever seen "Saint Seiya"? its old, repetitive, and cheesy, but i still like it. I grew up on it, so its part of my childhood. I also used to watch "Patlabor" once in a while.

I just got "Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust". The original Vampire Hunter D was awsome, can't wait to see the new one! AHHHH, god i love anime!

Greetings

Trigun is definately one of the top 5 series ever.

Other series as good are Cowboy Bebop, Kenshin, Inuyasha, Escaflowne, Neon Genesis Evangelion.

But there are just so many great series.

Me, Chris and andrew have collectively downloaded about 100 - 150 GB of anime using direct connect on the T1 connection at our local university, which is quite ilegal, but we gets the anime.

We have kenshin up to episode 69 now.. yay! And we've started getting Love Hina Again, a new love hina series. I also love cute anime, like Digi Charat, Mahoromatic, To Heart, Comic Party, and more, Vandread, Nadiesco, DNA^2, Ayashi no ceres, Hanaukyo Maids, Tiny Snow Fairy Sugar...

It is all good.

Another amazing thing about anime is the music. The soundtracks to some of the series are sooo amazing, like Escaflowne, Trigun, Cowboy Bebop, BGE, Geneshaft.

The music from anime is consistantly fantastic quality. It's just damn good. So if you are interested, just type the name of the series into Audiogalaxy, and you can easily get the sound tracks.

Kuroneko is cool.

I prefer english dubs because with subtitles, its sometimes harder to focus on the animation also, because your constantly looking down at the words. also, with subtitles, alot of times the sentences dont make that much sense, especialy on the Dragon Ball GT subtitles. but anyway, goodbye
