Ok so to be more specific, we left the house late this morning, so by the time I got to school, I had to crap REALLY BADLY. When I went into the bathroom, I was in such a hurry to get my backpack off and sit down on the toilet that I hit my hand against the wall while taking my backpack off. And that did it. I doubt I'll be telling that to Jared though

hmmm. I'm not an expert or anything but the wife has had her two diamond rings since 2001 and they haven't chipped yet.
I'm sure several child slaves in Sierre Leone died getting them for her though

Turns out it was not a chip. It was...super glue! Guess when I was handling my project this morning there must have been a bit of glue still moist on it somewhere, and it got on my ring. I just happened to notice it after I wonked it against the wall. God I'm so relieved...

It really looked and felt like a chip though, it had a groove in it. That is, the glob of glue had a groove in it, hah.
