inconsiderate and cares nothing for the habitat of animals or the
preservation of our woodlands. He does this so he can make a profit of $20.
What do you think of this way of making a living? Topic for class
participation after answering the question: How did the birds and squirrels
feel as the logger cut down their homes? (There are no wrong answers.)

A panda escapes from the Zoo in Washington D.C. around 2 in the morning. The first human he encounters is a hooker. She is afraid that the Panda might attack her so she asks if he is hungry. After the Panda replies in the affirmative she offers to take him home for a sandwich. So off they go. When the get to her apartment she asks if it is OK for her to "get comfortable" while making his sandwich.
When the Panda finishes the sandwich she asks if he is interested in resolving another "hunger." Afterwards as the Panda is heading out her door the indignant woman tosses him a dictionary while demanding $300.00. She has him look up prostitute, and the definition includes a woman who performs sexual activities for money. The panda chuckles and tosses her back the dictionary, and tells her to look up Panda.

"Panda. An endangered large black-and-white bear-like mammal, native to China. Eats, shoots and leaves."

So punctuation really does matter, and can save you some money under certain circumstances!

hah. 2005 it's more like...

A logger sells a truckload of lumber for $100. His cost of production is 8/4 of the price, or $80. How much does the govenment have to pay him so that his end profit results to minimum wage, after taxes.

Advanced Math:
A fisherman's basic cost of living is $18,000 a year, not including his boat and fishing license fees. He harvests approximately 6000 salmon in an opening, he receives between 2 and 3 openings a year. His fish sells for around $2.35 each. His boat maintenance and fuel costs him another 15,000 a year. His fishing license is $5,000 a year. How screwed is he if his boat breaks or when the alaskans or portugese overharvest and even one of his openings are cancelled, or if a chinese/japanese/taiwanese factory ship illegally fishes the salmon run causing all openings to be cancelled?

though I do agree its been dumbed down. hahaha. School as a whole is a joke now, all about putting numbers through to graduation, even though they're so retarded it means nothing.
