The (Un)official write anything you want page

yeah, I am sure hunting and gathering all day was a very relaxing activity ...
if anything I think we are bigger pussies than any previous generation :loco:

I actually read an article once that was based on how Hunter/Gatherers had the most chill lifestyle ever and actually had more free time to chill than just about any other society. Lie the others have said, they got some stuff to eat and then chilled out. They did not have to worry about any of the extra crap we stress ourselves out with these days.

Also, i totally get the shitty sleep issues. My work schedule is from 5pm to 5:20am. The body and mind do not like to keep this schedule. It is so damn unnatural. On the weekends I start feeling like I want to go to bed around 11pm even if I have only been up for 5 hours and have to fight that for a bit until I get past it and stay up until 8am. Going to bed as the sun is coming up is a bitch as well.

I had a similar issue when I was working in the fish plant, but that was 7-7 or 8-8. I kept wanting to sleep after 3-4 hours, and only reason I could sleep during the work rotations was the "cave-like" basement that was pitch-black

the difference between GUTS and BALLS

GUTS - Is arriving home late after a night out with the guys, being met by your wife with a broom, and having the guts to ask: 'Are you still cleaning, or are you flying somewhere?'

BALLS - Is coming home late after a night out with the guys, smelling of perfume and beer, lipstick on your collar, slapping your wife on the butt and having the balls to say: You're next, Chubby.'

Man I would hate to be working at Party City tonight. This has to be their busiest night of the year. Thought I was gonna swing by there right quick to pick up a couple rolls of plastic tablecloth material (to cover my living room carpet with of all things). WRONG. Said F that and went next door to Lowe's. Much better idea! Bought a bunch of contractor's plastic sheeting. Now the party can be in the house too and our carpet will be safe, thank goat. We've had much rain lately and the ground is still going to be wet and muddy tomorrow, hence the need.

My dad and I started decorating and messing with lighting tonight. It's gonna kick ass.

Tonight I went for some Ethiopian food with some archaeologists and Mathematics Ph.D. students. It was amusing to watch the Math people utterly fail to properly divide $11 four ways.
