VACATION IS AWESOME and I love being home.

I never understood how people in the military can be gone for so long then finally get time off and choose to go on vacation......and be gone longer. I'd be home so fast staring at a TV.

I have to second that. Both are bloody fantastic but the seemingly alarmed father/son and the douche we can't see in the background who is dropping the peace sign in a failed attempt to stop the metal simply can't be topped. That and they have beers. Christ that's a great picture!

....I got a raise today.

Everyone goes to their original homes on leave, which for me is New England. So really its not so much 'being gone' as in my eyes any time I am away from the north-east is the 'being gone' time.
