For some reason they don't like their hair in its natural colour. Some people want to change their looks, it is quite simple if dying your hair. For example a typical Finnish person (a heavy metallist or a goth) with dyed black hair is... hmm not my kind of taste. They look too harsh with a pale skin and pitch black hair. Other reasons for dying I can not think about at the moment.
. But you can always get rid of the hair completely by pulling it.
