I've been soaking up tons of new Prog and/or Power Metal lately and just stumbled onto these guys. I bough both their CD's. They are called Silent Call, and they are AMAZING. I don't think there's a lame song on either CD. It is intense, good and crunchy, a soulful vocalist (no cookie monster here!), keys to die for---and all at very high production. Makes my headphones sound like a pair of Bose!
I'm not sure if they are Christian, but they def have good messages. Some songs make me wonder that they might be believers. Good heart stuff. Check 'em out:

Some of Blind Guardian's newer material has a Celtic feel. The best example is probably Curse My Name.
Just got TheHuman Abstracts latest. It's much better than Midheaven, probably on par withNocturne.

Sinbreed - Dust to Dust
Would you guys call Sinbreed a Christian band? Judging from a lot of the lyrics, and what Flo said about the origin of the band's name, I would tend to think so, but I'm not sure if they consider themselves to be one.
Regardless, they're awesome. I truly hope they release more music, because When Worlds Collide has become one of my favorite albums.
