There is no doubt some of the albums are stand out albums, but I have no doubt that if I listened to them all again in a few months that order would change. It might not change much but different listening, different moods and I'll find things I missed on an album or things I've changed my mind about. None of my lists would ever be solid lists that never change.

Edit: No idea what is on spotify, most probably are, but they are all on YT and found with a single search.

You're allowed to comment but it wont change anything :)

The hard part is deciding what is and isn't thrash. Search for 80's thrash debuts and some of it borders on death and others border on just metal. There is quite a few bands I saw listed that I removed from the list because I didn't think they were thrash, but some on the list are definitely borderline.

I do have comments on each album which for me justified the scores I gave them. Others will judge differently and score differently and that's fine but that's the sort of thing fights are made of.

The one thing I will say is that it is worth taking time time to listen to most of the albums on the list given they are the albums that we so often refer to as 'old school' thrash. There is a lot of good memories on some, there is stuff you've never heard and there is some great moments of history that are worth knowing.
I'm gonna pick a few at random to listen to tonight. I doubt most of the albums are very long?

Yeah things like Anthrax, I just can't get in the mood for Neil's vocals and that for me really brings the album down. Others might love him and that's fine, but for me he ruins the album. Holy Moses was the same, geez that woman can sing, but the singing does nothing for me. Maybe if I listened to both together one would rate higher, but I'm a moody bastard so things are what they are :)

While it is true that I deserve such awards I just don't think it's going to happen. And if I get a statue of some kind, even a framed certificate, I reserve the right to smash Neil Turbin over the head with it because that fucker needs to learn to sing!!

They've overlooked me for a long time, I'm kind of used to it now.

I could forgive the guy if he could sing, but he can't!

I'm going to get one of those cattle prods to the kid's high school. They have just told us the book lists (books, stationary etc) for next year wont be sent home this year, they will only be online. They aren't allowed to force parents to buy from a preferred shop but they are allowed to make things difficult by using propriety names etc to make it harder to find generic items.

Things like "Binder book a4 225mmx175mm 64 page 8mm ruled" instead of just writing 64 page binder book because every stationary shop sells those. Use the full name and if parents are suckers they'll not be able to get that book anywhere else and they'll go to the store that gives the school kick backs.

The really bullshit thing though is that while they aren't forcing us to use the expensive store, we have to set up an online account with the store to get the fucking list. The list also can't be cut and pasted or saved by normal means like right click etc, you have to break into the page code to cut and paste. What a fucking joke!! Wouldn't be so bad if the prices were better but I priced their list at the stationary store where I buy everything for my business and even without my discount the price is $51.35 compared to $185.82 for the same fucking items!

Wow. What the hell is wrong with that school or district? Or whoever the hell is in charge of this crap?! That's ridiculous. They realize people's time is precious right? Not to mention that that is a hell of a price difference. What could possibly be their reasoning for putting all the parents through this. Especially with all the other stresses that are going right now. Such as I don't a pandemic and Christmas. Not to mention everything else. So they get to cheap out. But you you have to spend more?! Fuck that!
