FUCK ME! That parcel I was waiting for that sat on the docks in Singapore "waiting international departure" for nearly a month arrived the other day. It was supposed to be 2 extension cables for a 3 camera in-car camera system because when I ordered 3 before Christmas the silly buggers marked 3 on the package but only sent 1. So after more than a month the package arrives and instead of 2 cables which it's marked as there is only 1 in the package, the sachet isn't even big enough for 2 of them! I contacted the company again and it did take them three days but they finally got back to me and said they'll send the 3rd cable again.
Okay they'd accepted fault twice now and they've asked no questions, just resent the package, so I can't be too pissed off with them but holy shit I'm glad I didn't need 50 of these things I wouldn't get them until 2026!!

Pretty funny. Wight was one of the loudest voices bashing Jnr when he got fired. But then The Lucid comes out and Jnr is A League.
Hopefully Jnr is selling them there to cut out the middle man and it's not a case of no one will carry his stuff.

Didn't these albums become not available (so they say) a few years ago when KK was still on the board and able to make decisions? He sure bitched enough about it. But now that he's not on the board and not able to make decisions he would fight to have the albums brought back? AND he chooses to have that fight in public. Fucking A-hole.

I just don't see what Wight, or anyone sees in the Lucid, not because it's soft rock but because it's generic, lazy, has really poor writing and has a terrible image bordering on 80's make up bands. Altitudes and Attitudes was Foo Fighter-ish type music but they still had mostly well written and good songs.
I think EMP has always kind of sold it's own stuff, but yeah I do agree it would suck if shops stopped selling his gear.

I suppose I took a risk buying an unknown camera for the cars, but the guy who runs this company used to run one of the other big players and left to start his own company making affordable cameras. These things are full 4K recording, 3 cameras (1 internal I wont use), they work really well and I got them for $100 each. The Australian Ebay store couldn't sell me the extension cables for some reason so I had to go direct, which was easy done and the first cable arrived in less than 2 weeks, over Christmas, so their initial service was excellent, they just can't count very well.

I thought when Ripper bitched about this initially he was proven wrong and the albums were actually available through some sources? I though there was something about it being a label problem because JP had to accept a less than stellar deal when Rob left and it was the label and the deal struck that stopped the albums being on the JP website, at which time the band said they were trying to get the rights back. But yeah this is just KK pissing in the wind trying to make it look like he's standing by the only prick who will sing for him.

Testament isn't holding auditions and has a short list of "known drummers" and "some that are more up and coming, like, more recent generation drummers" that could potentially join the band.
"Yeah, I think at this level, it could be crazy to do an announcement that the band is auditioning. We would just be overwhelmed. We would get overwhelmed with applications. Instead, there's what we think of as a shortlist that's being looked at. And it includes some known drummers, some that are more up and coming, like, more recent generation drummers.
"We'll have no problem. I mean, I think everybody who's being considered is really good. No question. These are tough shoes to fill, obviously. Very big shoes, big shoes, metaphorically. And… [laughs] And in real life.
"But, you know, there are some great drummers out there. And I just think among the several that are being considered, I think it's probably going to be one of them. And, of course, I've gotten messages from several drummers myself, or friends or bandmates of drummers. 'Hey man, if you guys are looking, check this guy out.' And I'm just telling everybody, well, you know, there's the shortlist. If it doesn't end up being anybody from the shortlist, then we'll see. But we have to decide soon because yeah, there could be a tour not that far away."
