Well if you 'follow' every band, then 'follow' every magazine they appear in, every venue they play, every radio station they get played on and all their friends you don't need an attention span because your facebook feed never stops reminding you of the news you really need to know!

Just as long as they don't make their 's' look like nazi symbols!

For all those Patton/Lomardo fans apparently Dead Cross released an EP yesterday.

Edit: The film clip is made for shock value, but the music hasn't changed.

It's not thrash but it's better than some of the other stuff I've heard from Jnr's label.
The singer is Alice Cooper's son. Alice took Megadeth on their first tour and Alice wrote the foreword for Jnr's book. It's full circle man!!! Jnr says so!

Yeah it's strange to think how much Slayer lost on that day. Kind of puts retiring into more perspective.

To me the video clip is too much like other bands have been doing for years and it's boring to watch. Carcass weren't even the first to do it but after 20 odd years or bands like Carcass, Pig Destroyer and the like making D-grade horror clips seeing another one is a bit old hat. Even the last batch from Slayer's last album were a bit boring after the first viewing but at least they tried to tell a story.

They slayer videos were ok they at least told a story and knowing who was making them in advance meant it was clear early on that there would be a story. But the Dead Cross film clip is really just a poor effort trying to use gore to sell itself.

Well, but let's remember that just because we've seen it all doesn't mean there isn't a new batch of little metal heads seeing this kind of thing for the first time and for them it will be pretty cool.

No new fans are coming to metal via Dead Cross, they are terrible and the new song really isn't that stunning.

Decided against the The Bieb and am listening to a band I found in one of the other threads.
All female thrash band from the 80's called Meanstreak.
They aren't too bad given the time the music was recorded but interestingly enough after they broke up 3 of the 5 women went on to marry members of Dream Theatre.
