I guess it is a little strange that a reviewer hadn't heard of them but at the same time their first two albums did fly pretty much under the radar. I don't remember reading or seeing a lot about the band in the press even when Zetro was leading them. At the time it seemed like they were a secret band and then when they did come up in conversation it was like "what you don't know this band? What's wrong with you?"
I'm guessing the refined comment goes along with the 52 minutes of thrash heaven comment. I took it that he believes that new album is closer to what he considers is a classic thrash album than the other two albums were. Of course he's entitled to his opinion and without hearing it I can't comment but going by his review I'm getting the idea that he thinks this album is darn near perfect for the genre where as Overkill and F&J were not as good. It's a lot to live up to, it will be interesting to see how others opinions vary.
