FUDGE CHUCKING MUDDA PUCKER
New video for the Exodus single is out put it requires an age check for violence and I don't have a YT account to sign in with.

Someone will post it on vevo or one of those soon but considering some of the shit on YT you do have to wonder why bands are subject to such horse shit for violence when pop bands gets away with the shit they do.

I suppose when you name your video "The Beatings Will Continue" it sort of lays the groundwork for how it's going to be treated :)
Blood In Blood Out's official video was a fighting video but I don't believe that was restricted. Still in that was 6 or 8 years ago before cancel culture was alive and prominent.

A looooong time ago! I think I remember that trilogy of Slayer videos were restricted?

Hmmm apparently YT accepts gmail logins as proof of age. I use Chrome to check my gmail and Firefox for everything else. I get the age restriction in Firefox but because gmail is logged in Chrome just plays the video. Fuck knows how old I am on my gmail account but whatever the age I'm old enough to witness a beating!

Now that I'm all growed up and allowed to watch gross videos I'll move on to something else.

I listened to that Wreck-Defy EP this morning and they really haven't improved. I know it's only 4 cover songs but just not all there. It's one of the most uninspiring versions of Born To Be Wild I have ever heard. Working For The Weekend is okay but really nothing worth recording. Meanwhile Run To You and Little Bones are both very average.

The music itself, despite not being original, is not bad, but the vocals still don't really suit the band, they'd sound like they'd be better suited to a softer band, and the album sounds over produced, kind of like they wanted a metal band to sound flashy like 80/90's pop.

Overall I'm going to keep hoping the new album will reach the heights the previous ones showed potential to reach but if this EP is anything to go by I'm going to be disappointed.

Good to see them recording, I hope the new album is as good as the last one.
