A couple Christian bands. I wasn't doing much with it. Then I heard my dad playing Yes. I've got a complicated journey through music. Miracle that I'm here today, really.

At this point in time, it's Opeth. Really. I know it's corny or whatnot, but before Opeth it was Yes. Been listening to Opeth for like 3-4 years now, and it all is still pretty fresh and amazing to me. Once I get over it, I'm sure it'll be Yes again. Or Flasket Brinner. jklolzdominicimsorry. But yeah. It's a very close second.

Even with them being my second favourite, I'd argue that they're the best band. If that makes sense. I dunno. Yes ftw.

They are very good but they've done some horrible shit too...the prog bands that i really love are Rush, King Crimson and Floyd.

People like them because every member of the band is virtuosic performer at their respective instrument, the sonic textures they create, Anderson's vocals own, and they had a habit of making some of the most epic tracks (e.g. CTTE)
