So it's Friday the 10th here . Should I get my hopes up for a release today ?
In the process of getting everything set up. It will be another 6-8 hours. Thanks for your patience!
I have used your IR's since the first release and have done each upgrade since. I was a bit hesitant to upgrade to 4 with only a few amp models, but your honesty in this thread made me feel comfortable that more are to come, hopefully sooner than later! Get me some Boogie Mark II-IV-or V amp models so I dont have to get my V out to reamp and I will be a happy person!! Not much impressed with my other sims of this amp model.
Start mixing a new, way heavy metal project next week. Look forward to giving this a try out!!
Yikes...the plugin interface is way too big for my macbook pro, and it's taking up 15% of CPU even at the lowest setting. The X50 consumes 1.5%. The GUI is totally non-responsive as well. :/ I'll see if I can self-diagnose.
What host are you using? The plugin window is 800x810 pixels, but if that's too tall for some folks, I could easily split the plugin into two tabs in a future update if the screen height is insufficient to display the full window.
Next-level tube modeling does come with a fairly large CPU hit. The modeling technique is completely different from any other plugin. On low quality mode, and with the buffer at 256 samples, it should be usable and playable on just about any modern Mac or PC though.

Hmm, fully tested in latest Reaper in Mavericks, VST, AU 32 and 64 bit...
Tried switching to full screen mode and now everything works! I guess the physical size of the plugin window was mucking up the Recabinet GUI. Still too tall for my laptop screen, but I'm sure there's a way to scroll or something.
edit: except the very top preset buttons, probably because it still isn't 100% on the screen.
