Mark Lewis has become one of my favorite "new" engineers
what i would give for his kits converted to TCI´s >.<
EZX files are unpacked, it's just simple WAV files.
buy the EZX copy the files and make your own TCI's.

You can record the same snare brand/type multiple times but you will never get it to sound the same as on a previous occasion (especially by a different engineer)

Ah, your'e right. Old shit in a new packet. The oldest trick and it obviously still work. Toontrack. Shame on you!Ah, now I remember seeing this before. However it seems to kinda proof my point or wasn't Rock Solid at Warehouse Studios as well?
This is not at all accurate.
EZX Wavs are RIFF-format Wavs, but with specific proprietary compression (ttpwfmt).
so METAL! is really only one new kit with like the mixer sliders setup different for each producer? shit is confusing.

This. You do not have access to the raw .wav files.
Pardon the interruption. Just browsing Sweetwater and the EZX's are $40 and SDX's are $99 again.
I`m have serious doubt that codec for ttpwfmt exists in public realmi was definitively able to open and play the files directly on my old PC.
just tried it in windows 7 and it does not work. there should be a working codec/converter out there though...
