Well yeah, there are some good bands on there. But there's a bunch of others that are obviously there just because they're mainstream.

There's a Grindcore band around here called "Putrid Foreskin Infection", and they are entirely serious.

I think part of being a Grindcore band is not being entirely serious.

This list is in no order, except for the top three being my favorites. And as I always say, the list would be different on a different day. I decided to include bands that have at least three albums; at least three albums in the style they made their name with. I love a lot of old school death metal by bands that only released one or two albums, or one or two death metal albums, but I decided not to include these bands. Otherwise you would see Amorphis, Demilich, Demigod, Seance, etc. on the list.

Ignore what these guys say, there's nothing to be ashamed of on that list.
However, that's not to say said list won't change. For one thing, I don't see Bathory on that list. This must be rectified.
