None of the bands on that list are obscure anyways. If anything Belphegor simply doesn't get enough credit. I think they're a bit underrated imo.

Yea, but under-rated often makes bands obscure to an audience, they might be known here, but they're not on any board I've been on, nor does anyone in person I've met know who they are. If that's what we're going by, if we're going by how hard it is to obtain an album, type of label, etc etc, then they're not obscure.

Badass Belgium Thrash that sometimes reminds me of Unearth but have a shitload of Carcass-type riffs throughout. The Sickness Within is a killer album that Ive never heard anyone mention on these boards.

Certain songs off of The Sickness Within have Carcass type riffs, not all. But they have tons of energy and Im sure their pits are something fierce...but still dont see why I never hear them mentioned anywhere. Id say they deserve some recognition.
