Anyway, I know Trivium was/is being touted as the new metalcore revolution or whatever, and I guess they're technically proficient on their instruments, but that does not make them good. In fact I'd go as far as to say they pretty much suck.

Oh by the way just saying my opinion. Glad to see you've found something you like Vital Remains! I know how cool that is. Also if you like trivium try listening to some old In Flames. It's only a little similer but it's good and I think if you like the clean/heavy style you may like them.
