well.. speaking of improving their models .. I'm a bit embarassed but I got a capacitorvalue wrong in my poweramp 
.. I couldn't figure out the reason behind this "HIFI" sound it was making, until I recompared it to the reamps ..

I don't know.. I see this IK Multimedia guy all over the place on forums advertising
I can't speak for their quality as I think of it today, because I don't use commercial guitarsims anymore

i'm really digging the different power tube models, they really make a difference. it feels and reacts amazingly well too.
cpu usage is okay over here...definitely a bit on the heavy side, but nothing drastic.
so far x30 and lecto have been my workhorses and go-to ampsims, but even without much tweaking i immediately prefered x50 over both of them.
once again, thank you so much.
edit: no crashes or bugs so far in reaper.

popularity and quality are not directly related, even more in the music business than anywhere else.
I can't help but wonder why haven't a big name company offered a job to onqel where he could make his amp VSTs with a dedicated support team. Not hard to see tons of money on that.

Didn't change the setting back to high quality in this mix down as I forgot.
I think it's the el34's.
Could sound much much better but it's late and I need sleep.

Played with this a bit more.
This may be the first amp sim that I don't immediately reach to notch 3khz out of. Badass.
The only thing that I'd change sound-wise is to give the 'lows' knob a bit more range. Even pushing it to 10 doesn't seem to be enough for some DI's (altho I was listening on iPod earphones, they have pretty decent bass).
