Depends on the daw. Logic is AU only while Cubase is VST. However Reaper can handle both.

Thanks.. How about all the different version of OSX .. are a plugin compiled with the newest version compatible with an older version .. and vice versa? As I said, I have no experience/knowledge

There is an option in Xcode where you can set compatibility. I'm on osx 10.6.4 so I set the flag to make the plugins compatible back to 10.4 and voilà !

It works perfectly in Cubase 6 here. And I have to say the new version sounds WAY more like a real 5150! It's honkin like crazy! Update sounds MUCH better than the original!!! Way to go Onqel.

As for the ReValver comments, I use to be a huge ReValver advocate, and made patches, skins and even had Peavey contact me to do work for them because of the stuff I was doing. Anyway, I don't even have ReValver installed on my computer. Between LePou and Onqel, I don't see why anyone would need to purchase an ampsim.

But I think we should all donate to their efforts. You guys really are doing great work. I can't say it enough!

Thanks again for this amazing amp! The only problem i have is that when i open 2 instances of the X50_B3 Reaper crashes. Im running XP 32 bit with 3 gigs or RAM and a dual core processor. Its not maxing out on CPU, its just crashing when 2 are running at the same time.

Which version of Reaper are you using? When does it happen? Instantly when you add a new instance of X50 ? I've run multiple instances of B3 here without a problem.. (Reaper 3.75, Vista 64, intel quad core Q6600, 4GB ram)

I had the same problem too. Win7 64 bit Cubase 5 with an i7 6g of ram... No maxing out here either :/
