Guitars will be re-amped for the final mix as we have a real Engl Fireball and a Diezel VH4 at our disposal but the emulated sounds are still pretty good and may find some place in the final mix.

I'm not sure I even altered the preamp settings from the default to be honest (I've since bounced the tracks)

A very quick test on 8 strings, double tracks, SSD2, no bass.

The guitar is Agile Intrepid, BKP Warpig with whole step down. I recorded some riff from 'Iced Earth - The Coming Curse'. Only TSX X30 and Catharsis's IR with HP, LP.

The savage is the best amp I've played, the sound is huge but very tight.

I think since Krankenstein + 5150 + tubescreamer is a usual combination of mr Sneap, everyone on this forum would love it if you did those 3, I know I would

The guitars are pretty good but more narrow sounding than the original, like they are peaking more in some certain frequencies, a fequency analyzer would fix that

Yeah you´re right and also my execution it´s not 100% identical, but how could I make it less narrow cause it already hard panned right and left??

I composed a little something to try out the sim:
raw guitars

mix with raw guitars

Seems to be quite versatile despite my first impression that it's a bit scooped and fizzy. I like the fact that it has 2 knobs for the mids and a contour switch.

Actually yea I see what you mean about the garagy thing, I didn't really notice until you said it. I didn't intentionally go for it tho, I just kinda stopped changing the setting when it sounded cool. I got pretty lucky i guess haha
