TV Shows

I wanted to watch Night of... thinking that it was similar to The Jinx. Since lost interest seeing that it's acted out bs. I'll stick with my Bill Kurtis murder pr0n. :heh:

2 eps into Deadwood. its ok, i guess. needs more boobs.

and that calamity jane character/actress is annoying as fuck

haha I totally forgot about that character/actress! Horrible! She only gets worse as the series goes on. Otherwise Deadwood is good....except for the fact that it gets abruptly cancelled without any resolution.

im 4 eps into Narcos. one of netflix's best.

S1 of Deadwood was decent. is it just me, or does nothing really happen? a saloon owner and a grumpy salesman/lawman constantly make moves to improve their lot. a few meaningless shootings, people fuck, etc. there is absolutely no plot whatsoever.

and for some reason, i find that Alma character wildly attractive in that hot librarian kind of way.

and holy shit im glad that damn priest and his over-acting seizures are dead

I truly enjoy Mr Robot, but the frame cropping of the show just drives me fucking nuts the whole time...

Apparently Deadwood will make a comeback on HBO at some point. Not sure how to take the news. Let good things rest is my motto generally. One thing I'd be curious about is whether Sofia is bangable by now.

Pretty much, it's mostly an atmospheric thing. Pieces move a little bit more with the subsequent seasons though. Ray McKinnon, the "annoying" priest character, went on to write Rectify, which is, unsurprisingly, a series where nothing happens whatsoever, but a fantastic one at that.

I love the show -- don't get me wrong -- but the dialogue non sequiturs become laughable after a certain point.

Non-show example:

Q: Where have you been?

A: I remember going to Pizza Hut as a child. That was back when stuffed crust was first invented. I liked it. They had a great jukebox at that Pizza Hut. Soundgarden was on it. That was when Superunknown came out. 1994. I ordered a personal pan pizza with cheese and pepperoni. My brother ordered the same. But when they handed out the personal pans, his had pepperoni. But mine did not. And I've always wondered: was there a REASON he got pepperoni and I didn't? Was it a plan? Was it fore-ordained? I don't know. All I know is that I went to the window -- while "Black Hole Sun" was playing -- and thought: "In this life, I will never get my pepperoni."

Hahaha, good one!
Yeah but this is well... trying too hard to be philosophy-ish? It happens a lot in the scenes with annoying redhead detective bitch, I noticed.
I do like most of Elliot's monologues though, he kinda makes sense often, surprisingly.

Finished narcos s2. Brilliant show.

Started vikings s4 on amazon prime. Awesome as expected. Kathryn winnick still makes my manparts feel funny

The interior monologues are fine. I'm mainly referring to the fact that no one on the show talks like a real person.

Finished vikings s4. Still one of the best shows out there.

Finished boardwalk empire s3. Love it.

Put luke cage on hold to start mr. Robot. First episode rocks my jock. Thanks guys
