Now, that's an interesting line-up. I like it!
I'm damn old (British) school, those are my idols on a basic frame. I can construct more modern oriented like:

Vocals - Nils Patrik Johanssen
Guitar - Roland Grapow
Guitar - John Petrucci
Bass - Jonas Reingold
Drums - Mikkey Dee

Hmmm... this is a hard one...

Lead Guitar: Randy Rhoads (R.I.P.) :worship:
Rhythm Guitar: James Hetfiled (Master of Puppets era)
Bass: Lemmy :worship:
Drums: Mikkey Dee
Vocals: Bruce Dickinson

If I can't use deceased folks then:

Lead Guitar: Rocky George (Suicidal Tendencies)
the rest the same as above

Alternate lineup:

Lead Guitar: Dave Murray or Adrian Smith
Rhythm Guitar: Scott Ian
Bass: Cliff Burton
Vocals: John Bush
Drums: Rik Charron (Exciter)

If I can't use deceased folks then:
Bass: Steve Harris

Cheers!

Hell yeah, I like it. Rocky George is a highly underrated guitar player.

You cannot have Lemmy and Mikkey Dee together that is called Motorhead :p

Phil is integral to Motorhead! He and Mikkey write most of the music! Without the three of them it isn't Motorhead! :kickass:

Cheers!

Is it just me or is this current Motorhead line-up with Mikkey, Lemmy and Phil the strongest, most consistant line-up since their original line-up of Eddie, Philthy and Lemmy?

Definitely, except that the Lemmy/Fast Eddie/Philthy lineup wasn't the original. That IS their most well-known lineup... even though that lineup hasn't existed for over 20 years now!

Cheers!

Of course it is. Phil (Wurzel aside) has been with the band since 1984 (20 years already), Mikkey has been since 1992 (12 years, shit!). Eddie was only 7 years with the band and Philty maybe 11 (but not continuous). So Phil, Mikkey and of course Lemmy are more Motorhead than any other incarnation (agree with Clammy I was joking to his post).

Yeh, i guess this is the most motorhead Motorhead line-up ever.:D They've come out with some damn strong albums, too. "Sacrifice" is one of my all-time favorite Motorhead albums! LOVE that album! Up there with "Ace Of Spades" with me, and i'm NOT afriad to say it, either. "Bastards" is another very strong one. It's all about "Burner"!!

For me will be:

Bastards
Snake Bite Love
We Are Motorhead
Sacrifice
Overnight Sensation
March or Die
Hammered

He's some true old schoolers that I'd love to see get together & just jam...
Bass: Lemmy(if he's taking his vitamins)
Guitar: Michael Schenker(providing he's (mentally) cleared to perform)
Guitar: Mick Mars(That is if he's(medically)cleared to perform)
Drums: Tommy Lee(If he's been given a trip permit by his probation officer)
Vocals: Tim Owens
No KeyBoards! It just wouldn't fit this band...

Vocals - Robert Lowe (Solitude Aeturnus)
Guitars - Mike Wead (ex-Memento Mori, Mercyful Fate)
Guitars - Gary Jennings (Cathedral)
Bass - Leif Endling (ex-Candlemass, Krux)
Drums - Raymond Matthews (Well Of Souls)
