under rated guitar players

I actually think Varg Vikernes is highly underrated as a guitar player. Even without great complexity there's always something special in his guitars. Of course he doesn't play live, so maybe he's not as good live as he is in the studio.

On another note: Matt Wilcock, ex-Akercocke, is a mean fucking guitarist. His technique and chops live are seriously good.

The Green Day guitarist (Billy Joe Armstrong, I think?) can apparently shred pretty good but I've never heard or seen it - might just be a rumour.

It's possible he can do some metal soloing without sweating his eyebrows off. He started off in a metal covers band.

Anyone who thinks Ralph Santolla layering power metal solos over some crappy worn out/washed out death metal bands is good sucks at listening too Death Metal.

Lol.. 'sucks at listening to death metal'
That must of actually taken some thought to come up with something like that.

Yeah, I did not use the word 'fact' as am a scientist. If you think I am a scientist that's cool.
