Deeds of Flesh is actually very unique. I haven't heard much quite like them.

Septycal Gorge, Poppy Seed Grinder, etc. are all the same general DOF style (fast most of the time, complex technical riffing, yet a certain epic/melodic quality). But, yeah DOF are amazing. Great shit, they've done nothing bad!

I have the album 'Occidentale Magick' which is like blackened death metal stuff with silly 'avante-garde' chord progressions and the like.

It's great. It's pretty interesting blackened death, with great drumming, great basswork, great work, and pretty good guitar work too haha.
