Upcoming Sneap Projects

Cute, Kazrog - I did try to make my post as generalized and unspecific as possible, so I don't quite think I deserved the almighty "fail" condemnation...

And Andy, yeah, I guess you're right - I certainly can't name any bands that I know specifically have re-recorded an old album literally in the stead of a new one; however, I also can't think of any bands besides Testament who have re-recorded an old album/old material to begin with...
Dimmu and Meshuggah to a lesser extent.

So Andy ...

When are you gonna convince the guys in Manowar to re-record Into Glory Ride, Hail To England & Sign Of The Hammer with you? You know, something to put out BETWEEN the 50 live cds they'll release before the next original release? hahahaha

Personally, I see nothing wrong with re-recording an old album ... like Andy said, its not like they're gonna come to your house and force you to give up the original or something. Whats wrong with having both? I can think of lots of bands that I wish I could hear re-recorded versions of their music with modern productions or a different perspective. Honestly, my opinion is that music isn't static ... yes albums/cds/etc ... are supposed to be a "snapshot" into the world of the band at the time they make it but whats wrong with having more than one pic of the same moment? You see a pic of a hot chick on a porn site and she's on her back and got her legs all up in the air and looks all tasty ... what the hell was I saying? Oh yeah ... nothing wrong with seeing another angle on the same hot chick from the same photo session.

Sooooooo .... THAT being said, hey Andy ... since there's no chance of a NEW Sabbat .... *cough cough**re-recording?**cough cough*

Back in 5, have to check TheHun.com

the hun, yes quality..I'm a redtube fan myself.

We'll, theres a sabbat dvd on the way, no new stuff but all live versions of plenty of stuff from the first 2 albums.

Manowar.... yeah, don't think thats on the agenda. Thought Eric and Dave Shankle were nice guys when we toured with them tho.

HAhahaha, I don't doubt it - despite his occasional possession by the forces of evil for photo-ops, he's a complete lovable pushover :D

If you saw a pic of my dog, you would think she was the toughest thing you ever seen. 70 lb. Red Nose American Pit Bull Terrier. She is perfectly proportioned and she could probably pull the car to the gas station if I ran out. But... She isn't even a decent guard dog. Never barks at ANYTHING. Always wants to meet and play with passing strangers. If someone broke in my house, I think the best bet is her keeping them occupied by wanting attention. Hell, they'd probably end up taking her too.
