US Housing Market Faggotry

My mother in law rented her entire life up until just 6 years ago. When I figured up all she must've blown on someone else's house/yacht/BMW it makes me sick.

I've thought about just buying a small plot of land, too, instead of renting a space, but then there's utility hookups and crap to worry about. I don't know. The guy selling the cool mobile home hasn't emailed me back yet. Probably already sold it. Dreams of living in a tin can crushed. :loco:

Is yours an actual trailer or a house? The place my mom lives in is all houses that apparently are mobile or whatever and can be moved, maybe? But it's actually a really nice house, she bought it for like 30k and just has to pay shit like garbage men and land rent(off the top of my head). It's probably better than just flat out renting something

It's an old but really well-maintained and renovated 1957 Spartan mobile home. Not exactly a trailer, but more like a trailer than new mobile homes, I guess.

The inside is really awesome for what it is.

Not even a bit of nasty crust to be seen around that bath tub.

It's priced at $5,500, so it's probably already gone.

Well sure there are risks. To my knowledge, a tornado has never ripped through a mobile home park in my city. Apartment fires happen all the time, though. As far as theft, we had a break-in last year at the house we're in now. It's gonna happen if someone really wants it to.

To be fair, Dorian asks that question about everything.

"New computer huh, aren't those things death-traps?"

Renting is the only option in this shithole, unless ye purchased your home 30 fn years ago. My co-worker just purchased a home for 105k in the absolute boonies. Cat has to commute 3 hours a day just to own a damn home. Fuck that, I'll keep renting until I hit the power ball jack pot.

third highest if you count hawaii

i love that everything is so much cheaper here. unfortunately, it attracts a lot of people here. i dont like people. or traffic. or crowds

Haha! Apparently I don't count them.

The Valley of the Dirt People isn't as expensive as many other California places. Not exactly cheap here, but affordable if you aren't a complete idiot with money. My big moolah construction days are looooooong over, but it ain't so bad......until something major breaks in the house of course. :ill:

That being said, I'm retiring in Montana. If I'm alive in my 60s, selling the house and gonna be a dental floss tycoon...
