But if anyone flames you for that, I'll just delete the posts anyway, for your information.
George said:Indeed same here. I bought one album from them as a blind purchase and I regret it. The music overall just seemed lame, there's really no other way for me to say it. I'm not into the beer drinking metal or "brothers of metal unite!" kind of metal as this band came across as.

Impudent said:Usurper rule. I was just listening to them last night. I never saw the black metal in them though. Their older stuff must have been black/thrash, because I have "Cryptobeast", which is pretty much straight-up death/thrash, with maybe a few touches of black metal here and there. Good band nonetheless.

You do realize that there are about 4 bands that sport the name "Usurper" and i know that one of them is black, death and thrash metal....
So which one are you talking about?
HardSide said:Actually, there are only three of them, and only one is still active and has had a solid career. The other US one only released one demo and the one from Holland only had one album, so you figure it out.Carcassian said:.

Err i did figure it out, the one thats active isnt covering all 3 genres, and there are 4, and please dont check some feeble website such as rockdetector for music trivia, its beneath you and myself. get your real info from the bands website. thanks.

Also, I'm willing to wager that you haven't actually listened to a wide array of the band's material to actually judge for yourself just how much of the genres the band cover in their music.
