VCC Released

It is awesome, I don't think it sounds the same at all, less high end and gain when added with the Brit N model. But I like the new sounds alot better. Just finsihed a mix today with the final version. Loving it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I compared a mix that I bounced the another day, re opened with new vcc and bounced, sounds alot different.

Mind to share a short clip with vs without? Just out of curiosity: they say it's a very subtle plugin (beta) and I have no free slots for the iLock2 in my intel mac right now to test it.

People that say that is subtle must be deaf. It isn't subtle. I can hear it very clearly. It glues the different elements very smoothly, evens out the mix in some ways, or balance it. You know when the guitars get a bit louder without on the expense on anything else. It just makes your stereo field glue.

I can post a with and without mix later today if i remember. But it will be with the beta release because im on PT

Thanks man, always very helpful.

redeem a new one.

My old PW was also buggy, redeemend a new one and leaching now :)

And +1 to all Crillemannen said.
It's a ITB wonder machine.

Mixing into VCC is the best shit ever.

btw.. Im not using it on the master bus anymore. It seems to smear things out a bit and the whole mix lose some definition. But on every other track adn bus it is awesome.
SSL on drums fatten things up and Neve emu on Heavy guitars are just heaven, gives that thick low mids a hump :)

I'd say VCC and Duende Channelstrip is the ITB plugins to get. They are totally freakin awesome :D Taking big steps towards the analogue sound

I kinda like it on the master aswell(only SSL type) and I really have some awkward feeling when put Brit N on heavy gits...

The lows are genius but Brit N does something with the upper mids in a kinda harsh way to my heavy gitsthat I don't like.

Maybe the fixed Brit will fit my needs better but you can't fail with the SSL emu.

@Burny, I talked about the accessing too. It worked just flawlessly with the new pw, and the damn thing is that Slate is in LA;)

Edit: L.O.V.E. for the update.
BritN is still hotter but a little bit tamed, maybe just the right little bit? I think so!

^^^^ Can you explain the difference in the BRIT N MIX BUSS model? The BETA 2.5 is my secret weapon plug on the 2BUSS and some other things. Even though the LOW + HIGH end lift can be extreme, I mix through it from the get go and I LOVEEEE the depth it gives me. I'm almost scared to update to 1.0!!!!

I can't update anyhow for a week or two as I'm dead in the middle of mixing a record and there is NO WAY I can trust I will like the difference in sound. I'm happy with the mixes and the bands ADORES them so no go for me for a little while...

I even turned on OVERSAMPLING on all the channels thinking it would sound BETTER, and the band noticed that the mix 'sounded a bit different from the others'. IF that tells you anything about how much VCC does.... =D

I noticed myself but I thought it was an improvement. It may have 'smoothed' things over too much as like I said, I mixed through VCC on all channels and a few mix buss instances... SOOOO.

Would like to hear more opinions in the SOUND difference!! Never had any bugs here. Works flawlessy. Thank GOD I use the same OS and DAW as Slate =D
