VCC Released

You have to mix into the VCC Mixbuss as if it were a desk.. To my ears, the 4k model adds a punch and fatness to the drum transients that I will never want to miss.. the US A Discrete mixbuss also really puches and fattens things up.. The Brit N desk is not known for being punchy and fast, but rather fat and warm so might not be the best for metal.. but for fat rock and vintagey stuff... WOW.

If you can't log into users area hit us up we're ON IT... ;)

I just mixed the last Lynch record with Brit 4k... I'm trying to get permission to post a snippet..

Hey Siggi,
I don't think you will miss the old Brit, imo you can easily kinda go back to the "old" Brit with cranking Drive a little more or feed the mixbuss with more power...

I wouldn't feel comfortable without VCC anymore, thanks for this awesome plugin!

did you mean miss? :D

yup, edited, thanks! Without the Mixbuss plug, the transients and dynamics sound so digital nowwwww!

FWIW.. The newer Brit N is dead on to the real thing.. way more so (especially dynamically) then in 2.5.. which had a lot of bugs in the console code.

Steven, can I ask what neve desk did you model for the Brit N?

Also, can I just run the installer on mac and will it update automatically the beta without any problems? Because there is no uninstall

I would manually remove first since its just safer.. although the installer does have an uninstaller in it..

The Brit N was modeled after an 8048.

And yes it sounds incredible on the mixbuss.. its not fast and bright and punchy.. its just LARGE and LUSH...

Really?? Nice, I have to try the Brit N more, just by hearing you say it was modeled after an 8048 it makes me want to use it lol

But the thing is, I don't have the beta installer with me anymore, so what would be the best way to remove it? Sorry to be a PITA with this!

Haha! Your faux french accent sucks Steven!:tickled:

I'll work on it for next video :loco:

Yup its really dead on to the desk.. even when you look at test files.

I would copy and paste the older plugs to a folder called VCC 2.5 for safekeeping.

Last question Steven, the .vst plugins on the Plugins folder is basically all that is installed or is there other files laying around other folders? Just so I know what to backup.

I wish you a lot of success with this Steven, which I'm sure you will be.

I'm sure Jerry Brown has contacted Charlie Sheen to lead the parade! :tickled:

Level change on the guitars is the most noticeable thing I hear right now

yEAH I know man. I Boosted 6db on VCC for saturation and forget to set back the output, so i basically took down the guitarbus fader with 6db when i was muting VCC.

But still VCC does things to the stereo image which can't be achieved with simple level settings. As i said before it evens out things, makes the guitars more hearable (louder??) without compromising any other instrument, and adds punch.

damn the snare sounds so much better with vcc.
Also I have the feeling that the mix glues way more better and like you can hit the GR on the masterbus way harder with vcc.

DAMN YOU

now I have to save money to buy it :)
