Bahh, Planescape: Torment is just a nother "diablo" from the looks of it.

What? Oh no! No, no, no! PS:T is an awesome game with a deep storyline, great characters and writing and imagery that will set your hair on end.

Planescape Torment is more along the lines of the Baldur's Gate style of play than Diablo. But with much better humor. ..... Morte worries me at times in that game.

Everything, I think the main draw over other games like it is the fact that it references anything you can think of, and almost always in a humorous way. Even the manual has jokes in it.

Well, what Ketshy said, and also, the atmosphere and the story are so believable you really get sucked into it. The dialogues are both hilarious and well-constructed and even though the combat system is turn-based, it's a hell of a lot of fun. Seriously, try them. Unless you're a MMORPGing leeter, you won't be disappointed. Same goes for Planescape: Torment.

turn base is alright, I LOVED Heroes of Might and Magic. 5 looks... like it could possibly suck ass. But 2 was my favorite.
