Used to be annoyed that I couldn't sing as high as EVERY OTHER MAINSTREAM ARTIST IN EXISTENCE! I found that I could actually sing power metal HIGHER than, say, Rock, sung by, say, Rise Against. And it bothered the FIRE out of me!
Then I discovered how to use my "mixed" voice, and then I discovered how to do it fairly well, and now I'm quite pleased with what I perceive as my potential.
I hope I one day am able to use my gift in real life.
