Microphones are cheap... you can get them for a feww dollarsat EB. I need to get a good mic for m band soon.

I should buy one, too. Except I'm not as fortunate as you...can't find enough people in my area to form a band.

My band is one person who plays guitar and sings in a psycadelic rock style (i.e. Phish) a drummer who usualy plays guitar ad like Punk and hardcore and some metal, and me... kind of an odd mix

Haha, that's awesome. Of anything, I'm a one chic band with an electric guitar and er...a piano and/or keyboard. Wait...throw in one of those maracas, too.

I need to get a bass since my old one is busted (snapped in half since it was a reaaaaly cheap one)

not very long... but I can play some... I stil suck but I cna play basic chords... of course, I can't read tabs... it's been a while since I played, but I can still growl

Good, good. I need to practise my guitar. I've had it for a year, but still haven't learned chords. Metal tabs are a distraction.

write your own music
that way you don't need to learn to read chords/tabs

Learning to read chords and tabs are easy, but it's memorizing all the chords that pisses me off. I'm just happy with tabs.

Haven't ever considered writing my own music on guitar though.
