I was thinking we should all do that if Maiden ever came down under, but yeah, never really happened...

Is a cool idea though, if some other big name act tours and plays a few shows.

Yep, we all fly to the city of the first gig (unless you live in that city) and drive around, and we won't have to pay for accommodation because we would all just crash in the house of whoever lives in whichever town. So basically we'd just be paying for petrol and miscellaneous concert expenses.

It's confirmed that Stratovarius and Gamma Ray will show up, and it will be awesome to see those bands live..
Some rumors say that Kamelot will be there to..let's hope so

I just asked Chrispy and he said they did not play last year,they were just there to hang out before their tour started.

Oh I was under the impression from the tour dates that got posted as well as comments that were made on the VP yahoo list that they played!
