A QUESTION TO JAX:

Have they finished writing the lyrics now?

Actually, I'll try & get in touch with MJR today & find out where they are in the whole process..last time I spoke to him, it was more of the same, so we didn't write up an update because not much had changed. I'll see what I can find out though; if there's enough that MJR thinks an update is warranted, then an update ya'll will receive. :)

*lol* yeah, great :D

I do however also hope that the "if it sounds too loud, make it even louder"-phase of Odyssey has passed now. Some of the sounds on that album are so intense to the point of becoming a bit unnerving at times.

Good to know I'm not the only one who thinks this...I got jumped on pretty badly when I brought it up.

However, if the general songwriting and production quality of The Odyssey are any indication (minus the volume issues, it WAS a very clear production and I like that), we should be set for the next album. :)

That philosophy of "If its too loud, make it louder" was in dire need with the keyboards on King of Terr's, (As G. W. Bush would pronounce it) Inferno, and the heavy parts of The Odyssey. (I.E. The Cyclops, The Sirens, you know.) I'm sorry, but I just can't let go of that. The thought is out there and constantly mocking me!

The only reason I mentioned Bush was to try and make a clever reference to the fact that he says a word really funny.
Also, me of all people would never want to hear any band doing 9/11 songs. I really hate anything that's 9/11 commemmorative.
